Taliban Leader Visits Farah, Pledges to address Local Concerns

DID Press: Taliban’s supreme leader visited Afghanistan’s western Farah province, touring several areas in Takht-e-Pol district and meeting with religious scholars and local elders, according to local sources.

During the visit, which took place on Thursday, the Taliban leader listened to the concerns and requests of local residents and promised to address and resolve issues raised.

The trip included visits to villages, religious schools, and meetings with community and tribal leaders. The areas of Tangi and Naib Wayala were central to the program.

In Tangi, the Taliban leader met religious and tribal figures and toured Khayr al-Madaris, a local madrassa. In Naib Wayala, he visited Naibiya Madrasah and held separate meetings with clerics and elders.

Participants discussed local challenges and proposed solutions, as Taliban leader assured them of steps to resolve their concerns.

The press office of Takht-e-Pol district police command said the purpose of the visit was to assess the overall situation of residents, review security and social conditions, and strengthen ties between religious scholars and local communities.
