2 Key Taliban Commander killed in Faryab
11 Taliban members, as well as 2 key commanders of Taliban, were killed in Kunduz and Faryab provinces, officials at Shaheen 209 corps reported.
According to DID news agency report, as a result of airstrikes by the country’s defense and security forces on Taliban positions in Faryab’s Ghormach district, 2 key commanders of Taliban were killed.
Meanwhile, 3 armed Taliban were killed and 6 others wounded during the air raids in Imam Sahip district of Kunduz province, said Shaheen 209 corps.
An operation under the name of “Naweed 5” has recently been launched in Northern provinces of the country to destroy Taliban.
It should be noted that 29 Taliban members were killed and wounded in Faryab and Jawzjan provinces.
