DID Press: US President Donald Trump warned on Sunday that the United States could supply long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine if Russia does not stop its attacks.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said: “If Russia does not end the war, we may send Tomahawks.” He added that he would raise the matter with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The president said the missiles would not be transferred directly to Ukraine but would be handed to NATO, which would then pass them on to Kyiv.
Moscow has repeatedly warned that such a move would constitute a serious escalation. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said supplying long-range weapons to Ukraine would represent a new, more dangerous phase of the conflict.
Tomahawk cruise missiles have an operational range of roughly 1,600 to 2,500 kilometers, depending on the variant, and are capable of precision strikes against distant targets.
