Karzai Slams Pakistan Strikes as ‘Blatant Aggression’ and Violation of Afghanistan Territory

DID Press: Former Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned Pakistan’s recent air and ground attacks on several areas inside Afghanistan, calling them a “blatant act of aggression” and a “clear violation of international law.”

In a statement posted on social media, Karzai said the strikes, which reportedly killed and injured several Afghan civilians including women and children, constituted a direct assault on Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.

He extended condolences to the victims’ families and warned that Pakistan “cannot escape the consequences of its unwise policies by resorting to violence and aggression against the Afghan people.”

“Pakistan must understand that the people of Afghanistan are united in defending their land and sovereignty,” Karzai said, urging Islamabad to abandon “its harmful and hostile approach” and to pursue “peaceful, civilized relations based on good neighborliness and international norms.”

The former president cautioned that continued cross-border attacks would only deepen regional instability and underscored the need for responsible policies and peaceful coexistence.
