Mass Protests to Erupt against Trump’s Policies across US

DID Press: Amid an ongoing government shutdown and reports of heightened federal crackdowns in Democratic-led cities, organizers of the “No Kings” movement have called on millions of Americans to take to the streets on Saturday, October 18 to protest President Donald Trump’s policies.

According to Axios, the demonstrations — planned in more than 2,500 locations nationwide — are expected to be the largest wave of protests during Trump’s second term, targeting what critics describe as the administration’s authoritarian and repressive approach.

Recent polling data shows a decline in Trump’s approval ratings, as public dissatisfaction grows over his handling of domestic unrest and foreign policy.

Despite campaign promises to reduce U.S. involvement in global conflicts, Trump has faced criticism for backing Israel’s military operations and channeling billions of taxpayer dollars to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government — policies opponents say have deepened divisions and weakened US global standing.
