Indonesia Denies Visas to Israeli Athletes

DID Press: Continuing its diplomatic and political support for the Palestinian people, Indonesia announced that it will not issue visas to six Israeli athletes who were scheduled to compete in the 2025 World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta.

Local media reported that this decision aligns with Indonesia’s principled policy toward Palestine.

The Minister for Legal, Migration, and Reform Coordination stated that until Palestinian lands are fully liberated, Indonesia will maintain no political or diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime.
