Palestinian Authority Unveils $67bln Plan for Gaza Reconstruction
DID Press: Palestinian Authority PM announced a comprehensive three-phase plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip during a special session held in Ramallah on Monday.

Mohammad Mustafa, PM of the Palestinian Authority, unveiled the proposal in the presence of international representatives and diplomats, describing it as a roadmap to rebuild Gaza following the recent devastating war.
According to the plan’s estimates, full implementation of the reconstruction project will require approximately $67 billion over a five-year period.
The program is structured into three consecutive phases:
Phase One (six months) – Focused on immediate recovery, this phase allocates $3.5 billion for reopening roads, clearing debris, rebuilding critical infrastructure, establishing temporary housing, providing cash assistance, launching short-term employment programs, and restoring essential public services.
Phase Two (three years) – The second phase aims at mid-term reconstruction and the restoration of essential services, with an estimated budget of $30 billion.
Phase Three (long-term) – The final phase focuses on the completion of reconstruction in heavily affected areas, long-term urban development, and ensuring the sustainability of public infrastructure and services.
Officials emphasized that successful implementation of this plan depends on international cooperation, donor commitments, and a stable security environment to enable rebuilding efforts across the war-torn enclave.
