OIC Launches Humanitarian Support for Afghanistan’s Quake Survivors
DID Press: Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF), in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has signed an agreement to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.

According to the agreement, the OIC office in Afghanistan will be responsible for implementing the project and coordinating with the Afghan Red Crescent Society to deliver aid to the affected populations.
In a statement released on Tuesday (October 21), the OIC announced that the agreement was signed by Mohammed bin Suleiman Aba Al-Khail, Executive Director of the Islamic Solidarity Fund, and Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Ayyash, Head of the OIC Office in Kabul.
The earthquake that struck eastern Afghanistan in September caused significant damage and left many residents in vulnerable areas in need of urgent assistance.
The ISF said that this initiative is part of its ongoing humanitarian commitments to support Muslim nations during crises, aiming to strengthen solidarity and cooperation among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
