Afghanistan U20 Futsal Routs Uzbekistan 10-2, to face Bahrain next

DID Press: Afghanistan’s U20 futsal team defeated Uzbekistan 10-2 in their opening match of the 2025 Asian Youth Futsal Championship on Friday in Manama, showcasing an impressive attacking display.

Afghanistan side dominated from the start, controlling possession and pressing aggressively, securing a commanding lead by halftime. In the second half, the team maintained high pressure and solid defensive organization to extend the lead to a double-digit margin, celebrating their first victory of the tournament.

Afghanistan, drawn in Group A alongside Uzbekistan, hosts Bahrain, and China, will face the host nation Bahrain in their second group match on Saturday at 19:30 Kabul time.
