US Drug Supply Heavily Dependent on China, Including Amoxicillin

The report highlights that roughly 700 medications are fully dependent on Chinese sources, including all key compounds for amoxicillin, one of the most widely used antibiotics in the United States.

Analysts warn that this reliance may pose a risk to U.S. public health in case of political tensions or supply chain disruptions.
