Trump Pledges Swift Action if Afghanistan-Pakistan Conflict Erupts
DID Press: US President Donald Trump has once again announced that his administration will act quickly to resolve any conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Speaking in Kuala Lumpur, Trump said he had heard that “a war has broken out between the two countries” and added, “My administration has ended eight wars over the past eight months, and I will resolve this one very quickly as well.”
Trump emphasized that no other U.S. president in history has been as successful in ending wars, claiming that previous presidents “started wars instead of ending them.”
He also praised Pakistan’s military chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as “great people.”
These remarks come amid reports that Trump is seeking the retrieval of U.S. military equipment left in Afghanistan and the takeover of Bagram Air Base.
