Deadly Plane Crash in Kenya Kills 11 Foreign Tourists

DID Press: A small aircraft operated by Mombasa Air Safari crashed on Tuesday morning (28 October) near the coastal area of Kwale, close to the Indian Ocean, killing all 11 people on board.

Kenyan aviation authorities said the accident occurred at approximately 08:30 local time (05:30 GMT). The airline confirmed that the plane was carrying 10 foreign tourists—eight Hungarian and two German nationals—along with a Kenyan pilot.

A local police official told KBS that all victims were foreign tourists. The bodies were rendered unidentifiable due to post-crash fire.

The flight had departed from Diani on the Kenyan coast, heading to Kishua Tembo in the Maasai Mara protected area. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
