Israel Declares Truce after Killing Over 80, Including Children, Women

DID Press: Following the deaths of at least 81 Palestinians, including women and children, in recent Israeli attacks on Gaza, the Israeli military announced a temporary ceasefire, warning that if the agreement is violated, it would respond “strongly”. Meanwhile, Hamas has delayed the handover of another captive’s body.

The director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza reported receiving 21 additional bodies, including seven women and six children, and cautioned that the death toll may rise, as many of the 45 hospitalized victims remain in critical condition, including 20 children.

These developments follow Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s order for “powerful strikes” against Gaza, accusing Hamas of violating ceasefire. Hamas rejected the allegation and postponed the transfer of another prisoner’s body.
