DID Press: Afghanistan Women’s National Football Team, composed of Afghanistani migrants and refugees, achieved a historic milestone by defeating Libya 7–0 in the international tournament “FIFA Women Unite” in Morocco, marking their first-ever win in exile.
The final match of the tournament took place on Saturday night, November 1, in Morocco, where the Afghanistani women delivered an outstanding performance against the Libyan national team. This remarkable victory came after the team had lost its first two matches, against Chad (1–6) and Tunisia (0–4), making the 7–0 win a dramatic turnaround and a statement of resilience.
