Obama: Trump’s Policies Led U.S. Into “Dark Place”

In a recent speech, Obama said that the continuation of Trump’s political approach could lead the country toward a “worrisome and dark path.”

“What we see today in American politics is a return to division, distrust, and lawlessness. We cannot allow the country to walk again down the dark path that Trump has set,” he said.

“Democracy is not sustained by voting alone; it finds its meaning in standing up to those who seek to weaken it,” added Obama, highlighting the importance of preserving democratic institutions.
