Taliban Mobilizes Emergency Medical Aid after Balkh–Samangan Quake
DID Press: Taliban-run Ministry of Public Health announced that all necessary resources have been mobilized to provide urgent medical assistance to those injured in recent earthquake in Balkh and Samangan provinces. Officials say the treatment of injured people is underway in full coordination with local authorities.

Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services Delivery, chaired an online meeting with provincial health directors from Balkh and Samangan to assess the medical situation following the earthquake.
During the session, Haqqani reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to delivering all required support for rapid emergency response.
He instructed provincial health officials to regularly submit accurate reports on the number of injured individuals and the progress of medical treatment, emphasizing the importance of maintaining close coordination with the ministry to ensure swift assistance.
