DID Press: Pakistani health officials reported 59 cases of dengue fever in Turbat city, near the Iran border, noting that most patients had recently traveled to Karachi.

Vahid Bazli, director of Turbat Hospital, said that affected areas are under medical supervision, patients are receiving treatment, and their conditions are improving.
Travel to Karachi is believed to be the main factor behind the outbreak, he added.
Health authorities emphasized the importance of strict monitoring of border areas and adherence to hygiene measures to prevent further spread of the disease.
While there have been no reports of dengue cases on the Iranian side of the border, public health experts have warned that cross-border health cooperation is critical to preventing transmission.
