DID Press: One person dead and two others critically injured when a medical helicopter crashed in Tennessee, local authorities reported. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near 7100 Cairo Bend Road in Wilson County.

Scott Moore, a spokesperson for the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, said all three crew members on board—pilots and nurses—were part of the medical flight, and no patients were aboard at the time of the crash.
The origin and destination of the helicopter are currently unknown. Investigations into the cause of the crash will be led by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
