Turkey Offers Active Role in Gaza Stability Force

DID Press: Turkey expressed full readiness to participate in an international force aimed at stabilizing Gaza, including the possible deployment of military personnel.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Ankara is prepared to send its forces to Gaza under the framework of an “International Stability Force” if needed.

In a televised interview with A Haber, Fidan explained that a draft resolution establishing the force, which will define its legal framework and authority, is currently under preparation.

He also highlighted the formation of a joint civilian-military coordination center with U.S. cooperation and Israeli participation, which could serve as the initial core of the international force.

Fidan stressed that Turkey is ready to take any necessary measures to help stabilize the ceasefire and advance a post-conflict agreement in Gaza.

The Turkish foreign minister also voiced support for the Sharm El-Sheikh ceasefire agreement, pledging Ankara’s continued backing of the process.
