DID Press: Mykola Azarov, former Ukraine PM, claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump is looking for a replacement for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, Azarov said Trump has invited certain Ukrainian officials to Washington and held discussions with them to identify a suitable candidate to replace Zelensky.
Azarov also cited recent corruption scandals among Zelensky’s inner circle as evidence of the president’s inability to govern and argued that no one in Ukraine’s political arena can guarantee normal development for the country.
Earlier, Trump reportedly told Zelensky that he bears responsibility for the Ukraine war and potentially for triggering a third world war.
