Qatar Condemns Israeli Officials Trip to Occupied Golan

DID Press: Qatar condemned the visit of the Israeli prime minister and several ministers to the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, calling it a “blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic” and a “dangerous act of aggression against regional security.”

In a statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry urged the international community to take immediate action to compel Israel to respect international legitimacy, particularly the 1974 ceasefire agreement, and to prevent further Israeli incursions into Syrian territory to avoid escalation.

The ministry also reaffirmed Doha’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as the aspirations of the Syrian people for security and stability.
