Taliban Invite Afghan Sikhs, Hindus to Return and Join Reconstruction
DID Press: Taliban government called on Afghanistan Sikhs and Hindus to return to the country and take part in reconstruction and economic development In its latest economic meeting with the Indian private sector.

Nooruddin Azizi, acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, made the appeal during a meeting with members of India’s PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasizing the historic role of the Sikh and Hindu communities in Afghanistan.
Azizi highlighted new investment packages and Afghanistan’s economic potential, urging Indian private sector companies to increase investments in production, imports, and exports.
He added that following the achievement of relative stability, Afghanistan is ready to expand regional economic cooperation, particularly with India, and that Indian investors could play a prominent role in various projects.
The minister stressed that the return of Sikhs and Hindus would strengthen the social fabric and contribute meaningfully to advancing the country’s economic programs.
