Iran, Afghanistan Seek to Boost Economic Ties

DID Press: Ali Reza Beikdeli, Chargé d’Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, met with Din Mohammad Hanif, Afghanistan’s Minister of Economy under the Taliban government, to discuss ways to expand economic cooperation, In a constructive meeting.

According to a statement released by the Iranian Embassy in Kabul on Sunday (Nov. 23), the two sides emphasized the importance of developing economic relations, discussed increasing bilateral cooperation, strengthening trade interactions, and planning visits by economic officials from both countries.

The discussions aimed to open new horizons in Tehran–Kabul economic collaboration, with both parties expressing hope that the talks would lead to practical outcomes.
