Afghanistan Passport Distribution Begins in Indonesia

DID Press: Taliban-run Afghanistan embassy in Indonesia has officially launched the printing and distribution of new Afghan passports in Jakarta.

According to the embassy, the process began following “persistent efforts” by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Taliban’s political mission in Indonesia, and was inaugurated in a special ceremony.

As part of the first step, Mawlawi Sadullah Baloch, acting head of the embassy, handed over the first new passport to an applicant.

The embassy has urged Afghan citizens residing in Indonesia to visit the official website of the mission for information and to schedule appointments.
