Afghanistan Commercial Goods Worth $6B Stalled at Pakistani Ports
DID Press: Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that commercial shipments belonging to Afghan traders—valued between $6 and $6.5 billion—have been halted at ports and border crossings in Pakistan.

Khan Jan Alokozai, A board member of the chamber, said these goods are primarily transit shipments entering Afghanistan through Pakistan, and the continuation of this situation has created serious challenges for the country’s trade sector.
“Prolonged delays could increase costs and disrupt the supply of goods in domestic markets,” he added.
