US War Secretary Criticizes Biden Over Afghanistan, Borders
DID Press: US War Secretary Pete Hegseth sharply criticized former President Joe Biden’s handling of Afghanistan and border security, calling it “catastrophic” and blaming the administration for allowing “millions, including dangerous Afghan nationals,” to enter the U.S.

Hegseth said Biden’s “reckless and costly” withdrawal from Afghanistan helped extremist and criminal groups regain strength, some now appearing along smuggling routes. He defended current U.S. operations as “targeted and lawful,” aimed at stopping narcotics trafficking and neutralizing narco-terrorists.
Human rights groups have urged Washington to avoid targeting individuals without evidence in international waters.
