Former Afghanistan VP Claims $45M in Cash Delivered to Taliban in Kabul

DID Press: Amrullah Saleh, former First VP of Afghanistan, has alleged that “Today, 8 December 2025, in Kabul, the United States delivered forty-five million dollars in brand-new cash to the Taliban during the early morning hours.”

Saleh claimed that the funds were transported to Afghanistan via a chartered flight operated by Maalem Airlines.

“Yet, Afghanistan is not even considered in the U.S. national security strategy. Surprising, isn’t it?,” he added.
