DID Press: Pakistani police and security sources told Reuters that six soldiers were killed in an armed attack on a security outpost in the country’s northwest.
The attack occurred from Monday night into early Tuesday in the Kurram region, one of the former tribal districts bordering Afghanistan.
Pakistan’s security forces said a search operation to locate the attackers is ongoing.
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the assault.
