Pakistan Envoy Holds Talks on Afghanistan with Stimson Center

DID Press: Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, met with Daniel S. Markey, senior fellow at the Stimson Center, for detailed consultations on Afghanistan.

According to Sadiq, the talks focused on concerns over foreign militants in Afghanistan, regional dynamics and rivalries, and potential policy approaches toward the Taliban government.

Sadiq shared a photo of the meeting on X and emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue on the issue, calling it “critical” for regional security and stability.
