Kabul Pledges to Address Migrants’ Concerns During Iran Visit
DID Press: Neda Mohammad Nadim, Taliban government’s acting minister of higher education, met with Afghan professors and migrants during his official visit to Iran, emphasizing that their concerns will be followed up through coordination with Iranian officials and the Afghanistan Embassy in Tehran.

Nadim also reiterated that ensuring security across Afghanistan remains a priority for the authorities, telling attendees that their issues will be addressed through ongoing dialogue with Iran.
Earlier in his trip, Nadim toured several academic and religious centers, including universities and seminaries in Qom. He also met Ali Akbar Velayati, head of the board of founders and trustees of Islamic Azad University, to discuss strengthening higher education ties and proposed establishing a Kabul branch with programs in medicine, engineering, and artificial intelligence.
In a separate meeting, Nadim held talks with Iran’s minister of health, Dr. Zafarghandi, focusing on expanding cooperation in medical sciences and training.
