Peru Received 2nd Batch of Black Hawk Used by Former Afghan Army

DID Press: US has delivered a second shipment of UH-60A+ Black Hawk helicopters, previously used by the former Afghan government, to an allied country.

According to sources, this transfer continues the U.S. process of reallocating remaining Afghan military equipment. These helicopters, which were operated by Afghan security and defense forces before 2021, were taken out of Afghanistan following political changes.

Experts note that after technical inspections and preparations, the helicopters are now in the possession of the allied nation as part of ongoing U.S. military cooperation.

U.S. officials have not disclosed further details regarding the exact number of helicopters or their final destination.
