Kyrgyz Delegation in Kabul to Boost Economic Cooperation

DID Press: A high-level delegation from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Afghanistan on Tuesday to explore ways to expand economic cooperation and increase trade and investment between the two countries, said Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

According to the ministry, the delegation is scheduled to meet with Taliban officials, participate in a Business Connectivity Conference, and hold bilateral meetings during the visit. Members of the delegation will also tour industrial facilities and several active manufacturing companies in Afghanistan.

The ministry said the visit could help strengthen economic ties, identify new investment opportunities, and enhance trade relations between Kabul and Bishkek.
