Uzbekistan to Boost Building Material Exports to Afghanistan

DID Press: Uzbekistan’s association O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari held an online meeting with senior officials and domestic manufacturers to outline new strategies for foreign markets, In line with a presidential directive to expand building material exports.

Ilyas Rahimov, the association’s head, presented a comprehensive report on efforts to promote Uzbek products abroad, with particular focus on Afghanistan and the United States.

A key highlight of the meeting was the plan to establish a permanent building materials exhibition in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan. The new center will allow Uzbek manufacturers to directly showcase products to foreign buyers, sign commercial contracts, and significantly increase export volumes.

The association concluded the session by reaffirming its commitment to systematically opening new export channels, providing practical support to construction sector companies, and strengthening international cooperation.
