Hunter Biden Calls US Afghanistan Withdrawal “Obvious Failure”

DID Press: Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has sharply criticized the manner in which the United States withdrew from Afghanistan, describing it as an “obvious failure” and placing ultimate responsibility on his father.

Speaking on The Shawn Ryan Show podcast, Hunter Biden referred to the killing of 13 American service members during the withdrawal and said: “Leaving Afghanistan was the right decision, but the way it was carried out was disastrous. In the end, the president is responsible, and that is a reality my father understands.”

While criticizing the role of U.S. military commanders, Hunter Biden also attributed part of the responsibility for the situation to policies adopted under the previous U.S. administration. However, he emphasized that “the final decision always rests with the president.”

In another part of the interview, he voiced critical views on U.S. immigration policy, saying the country has “become addicted to the migration problem” and that the political environment is dominated by endless debates rather than concrete solutions.

Hunter Biden concluded by expressing uncertainty about his political identity, saying he is no longer sure he considers himself a Democrat.
