DID Press: American historian and author Martin Sandler claimed that Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, was responsible for the assassination of then U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

Sandler, citing a series of letters exchanged between Kennedy and David Ben-Gurion — Israel’s founding prime minister — argues that the correspondence reveals Kennedy’s deep anger over Israel’s nuclear testing program in Dimona.
In the letters, Kennedy reportedly warned that continued testing could undermine efforts to advance the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.
According to Sandler, political pressure from Kennedy ultimately contributed to Ben-Gurion’s resignation.
Martin Sandler has written more than 60 historical books and has received multiple awards, including the U.S. National Book Award for Young People’s Literature.
