Congresswoman: Democrats Seek to Impeach Trump If they Win

DID Press: Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna warned of the potential consequences of a Democratic victory in the US midterm elections, saying it could derail President Donald Trump’s agenda.

In an interview with Fox News, Luna said Americans elected Trump because they want his policies implemented, adding that any shift in the balance of power in Congress could disrupt that process.

She said that if Democrats regain a majority in the House, they are likely to pursue impeachment proceedings against Trump and use their authority to obstruct the administration’s plans.

Luna stressed that to ensure continued political success, Congress should move to codify Trump’s executive orders into permanent law to prevent potential obstruction.
