DID Press: Saudi Arabia accused UAE of engaging in “dangerous” activities in eastern Yemen, calling these moves a threat to its national security. Riyadh warned that any crossing of red lines would trigger a response.
The kingdom demanded that the UAE withdraw all its forces from Yemen within 24 hours and halt military and financial support to Yemeni groups.
At the same time, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for Yemen’s unity and emphasized the importance of achieving a political solution.
This development comes amid escalating disputes between the two Gulf allies over influence and control of eastern and southern Yemen in recent months.
