NYT: Operation to Seize Maduro Left at Least 40 Dead
DID Press: New York Times reported that at least 40 people — including civilians and members of the security forces — were killed during the U.S. military operation to seize Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. A senior Venezuelan official told the newspaper the casualties included non-combatants.

U.S. officials, without providing further details, confirmed that more than 150 aircraft were used in the operation.
Maduro was detained on Monday following the U.S. assault on Caracas and was subsequently transferred to the United States.
