Solar Power Project Boosts Electricity Access in Paktika

DID Press: A new solar power project with a capacity of 100 kilowatts has been inaugurated in Yahyakhel district of Paktika province.

The Ministry of Water and Energy of the Taliban government announced that the project has been completed and is now operational. It was implemented by the Paktika Provincial Directorate of Water and Energy in collaboration with the Directorate of Industry and Commerce.

Officials stated that the project will supply part of the region’s electricity needs and improve conditions for service provision and economic development.
