4 Afghan Youth Futsal Stars Join Senior National Team Training

DID Press: Four talented players from Afghanistan’s youth futsal team, recent champions of the Asian Youth Games, will for the first time participate in training sessions with the Afghan senior national futsal team being held in Iran.

The head of Afghanistan’s futsal national team confirmed that the inclusion of these four promising young athletes is finalized. This initiative aims to raise the technical level of the senior team while preparing the youngsters for future competitions.

The players, who secured the championship at the recent Asian Youth Games in Thailand, will soon join senior team sessions in Tehran. Their presence alongside experienced futsal players is expected to accelerate their development and help the Afghan senior team move closer to Asia’s competitive top tier.

According to the team manager, this step is a strategic effort to strengthen Afghanistan’s futsal pipeline and enhance the national team’s performance in international tournaments. The young players, who have earned multiple individual and team honors at the Asian level, will gain invaluable experience from seasoned teammates and could become key figures in the national squad in the near future.
