US Admits Using Force and Sanctions to Dominate Venezuela

DID Press: Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security at the White House, openly acknowledged that the United States relies on coercion and power rather than international law and principles in its global relations. He explicitly said that Washington has effectively placed Venezuela under its control, with the U.S. military deployed abroad and comprehensive sanctions imposed on the country’s oil and trade sectors.

According to Miller, Venezuela requires U.S. approval for virtually all economic activity—a declaration that underscores Washington’s reliance on dominance and imposition rather than respect for national sovereignty.

These remarks highlight the operational reality of U.S. foreign policy: governing other countries through pressure, sanctions, and influence, rather than honoring the sovereign rights of nations.
