DID Press: At least three people were killed and several others wounded after two separate shooting incidents in Bannu city, located in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to The Express Tribune, the first incident occurred on Wednesday in the Mitha Khel area within the jurisdiction of the Mandan police station. The shooting followed a clash between two rival groups, leaving three people dead and six others injured. The condition of three of the wounded was described as critical.
Police officials said an investigation has been launched to identify and apprehend those responsible.
In a separate incident, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle near Mandan Gate, injuring a police officer and his son.
Authorities confirmed that a search operation is underway to track down the attackers, while the motive behind the assault remains unclear.
These incidents come only three days after four police officers were killed in two separate shootings within four hours in Bannu.
