Kabul Municipality Warns Builders: Non-Compliant Projects Face Contract Termination
DID Press: Kabul Municipality issued a stern warning to construction and road-building companies, saying delays in project implementation and substandard work will not be tolerated.

During a meeting with representatives of construction and road-building firms in the capital, municipal officials stressed that any postponement in urban projects or failure to meet required standards is unacceptable.
“Kabul’s municipal projects must not be compromised. Poor quality and delays ultimately harm residents and undermine efforts to improve urban living conditions,” the municipality said.
Officials further warned that companies failing to comply with technical standards and quality requirements risk having their contracts terminated.
Kabul Municipality underscored that oversight of projects remains its responsibility and stated that violations will be met with zero tolerance.
