Venezuela Alleges US Used “Unknown” AI Weapons in Maduro Operation
DID Press: Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López claimed the United States employed advanced, artificial intelligence–based weapons during an operation targeting President Nicolás Maduro.

According to Padrino López, the weaponry had never been used in any prior military engagement, effectively turning Venezuelan territory into a testing ground for sophisticated U.S. armaments. He said Caracas was subjected to a bombing carried out with highly advanced AI technology.
The minister also referenced remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos, noting that these weapons were used on January 3, 2026, in an operation that resulted in the abduction of Maduro and his wife.
Padrino López emphasized that the US deployed systems inaccessible to any other nation, with the stated objective of creating complete confusion within Venezuela’s defense networks. Trump, during his Davos speech, confirmed that Venezuelan forces had encountered weapons previously unknown to them.
