Saudi Arabia: Our Airspace Will Not Be Used for Any Attack on Iran

DID Press: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has stated unequivocally that Riyadh will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran—a position reflecting a growing emphasis on regional stability and respect for national sovereignty.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call on Tuesday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss regional developments. During the conversation, the Saudi crown prince stressed the importance of resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomacy and avoiding military escalation.

President Pezeshkian welcomed Saudi Arabia’s stance, thanking Riyadh for its consistent respect for Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and described the approach as a significant step toward strengthening collective security and lasting regional stability.

Saudi Arabia’s position comes as the United Arab Emirates has also previously declared that it would not permit the use of its airspace or territorial waters for any military action against Iran—signaling the emergence of a broader regional consensus opposing military adventurism against Tehran.
