DID Press: Balochistan, Pakistan, has entered a state of heightened security alert following two days of intense clashes between security forces and armed groups. The provincial government has confirmed that more than 70 militants were killed during military and police operations across the region.

Amid the ongoing conflict, internet data services have been cut off in the cities of Quetta, Sibi, and Chaman, while army units are on high alert. The heavy gunfire in Quetta has forced all hospitals in the province to declare a state of emergency, with medical staff being summoned to treat potential casualties.
Meanwhile, Baloch separatist groups have claimed control over the city of Nushki in Balochistan, also asserting that they have taken over the Mastung district jail.
