Iran still Threatens US Naval Fleet, Reports US Media

DID Press: Despite clear superiority of U.S. Navy in the region, Iran continues to threaten the U.S. fleet, according to a report by Israel Hayom newspaper. The report mentions the installation of a billboard in Tehran depicting a destroyed U.S. aircraft carrier, as well as the circulation of threatening videos in some domestic Iranian media.

The report also highlights that during the recent military drills by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard in the Gulf of Oman, various types of cruise and ballistic missiles were fired at simulated targets, claiming that all targets were hit with precision.

The analysis stresses that should any scenario result in targeting of a U.S. aircraft carrier, it would be a “historic achievement” for Iran, as no U.S. aircraft carrier has been sunk in military conflict in the past 80 years. Even a limited hit that disrupts operations on these vessels could become a powerful propaganda tool for Iran.

Additionally, Fox News analysis suggests that simultaneous and numerous Iranian drone attacks could pose a serious threat to the valuable assets of the U.S. Navy, including the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), expressing concern over the Revolutionary Guard’s live-fire naval exercises, has called on Iran to stop its “unsafe and unprofessional” actions. This warning comes at a time when significant U.S. military and the transfer of advanced equipment to the region have raised the stakes and escalated tensions.
