DID Press: A group of Shia scholars from Georgia has issued an official statement condemning any threats against the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, offering their complete support for the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In their joint statement, the scholars expressed unwavering support for Iran and the Islamic Revolution’s leader, condemning threats of assassination, conspiracy, and violent actions by global hegemonic forces.
The statement emphasized that these threats are not aimed solely at an individual but target the dignity of the Muslim Ummah, the spirit of resistance, divine values, and the voices of oppressed nations. The scholars urged vigilance and steadfastness in confronting these challenges.
The Shia scholars of Georgia described Ayatollah Khamenei as a “symbol of justice, independence, the path of the Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt, and an example of resistance against oppressors.” They praised his clear and principled stance against the policies of the United States and the Zionist regime, particularly his firm defense of the Palestinian people and the people of Gaza, which they believe delineates the line between right and wrong.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the scholars’ full, unconditional, and unwavering support for Ayatollah Khamenei and the goals of the Muslim Ummah.
