Iran Confirms Afghan Nationals Had No Role in Drone Operations

DID Press: Multi-layered security investigations found no evidence of Afghan nationals participating in operation or guiding drones during the 12-day conflict with Israel, said Sardar Hossein Nejat, deputy commander of Iran’s sarallah Security Headquarters.

He emphasized that the official clarification aims to counter misinformation and prevent rumors from influencing public opinion, while also safeguarding the cohesion and relations between Iran and Afghanistan.

Although some espionage activities involving non-Iranian individuals were identified, these cases involved various nationalities and do not support claims suggesting a significant role for Afghan nationals in drone operations, added Sardar Nejat.
