A traditional festival in Sangin district of Helmand province hit by rockets and car bomb blast on Monday morning, according to reports.
Helmand governor’s office has reportedly confirmed that 25 civilians were killed as a result of the incident in Sangin district of Helmand province.
According to local officials, 20 people were injured and have been transferred to hospitals for treatment.
The incident took place at around 9 am (local time).
